This Privacy Policy explains how getVolara (“getVolara,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit getvolara.com (the “Site”), create an account, or place an order. It also describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:
  • Identifiers — name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, account username, and IP address.
  • Commercial information — products purchased or considered, order history, and transaction records.
  • Payment information — billing details processed through our third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Internet and device activity — browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us, subscribe to emails, or respond to our messages.
  • Geolocation data — approximate location derived from your IP address.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21 years of age.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
  • Service providers — vendors that perform functions on our behalf, including payment processing, order fulfillment and shipping, email and marketing platforms, website hosting, and analytics.
  • Advertising and marketing partners — providers that help us deliver and measure advertising and marketing, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) through its advertising pixel and Klaviyo for email and audience management, using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. Sharing personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising is considered “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA. See Section 7 for how to opt out.
  • Legal and safety — law enforcement, regulators, or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
  • Business transfers — a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising, including through the Meta advertising pixel and Klaviyo. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality. We honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining your account, completing transactions, complying with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolving disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
  • Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
  • Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information. We share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in Section 4. You may opt out using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our Site footer or by contacting us.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we process any such information for purposes beyond those permitted.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights. Submit a request by emailing contact@getvolara.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under 21 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
